Tamerza
The biggest of the mountain oasis villages is Tamerza with its two waterfalls
The original village of Tamerza was abandoned following the great flood of 1969, when many of the mud and brick-type houses collapsed, but the layout is still visible from a distance.
This is a good base from which to explore the area.
